The shift in outlook for interest rates, the strong performance of the U.S. economy and a sharp uptick in equity markets helped wealth creation globally, per The Wealth Report 2024 from international real estate firms Knight Frank and Douglas Elliman.

At the end of 2023 there were 4.2 percent more UHNWIs than a year earlier, with nearly 70 very wealthy investors minted every day, taking the global total to just over 626,600, the report found.

However, with increasingly complex geopolitics, tech and climate disruption, the old rulebook no longer applies for real estate investors and those operating in the HNW and UHNW ecosystem.
